Cancellation Policy
Effective 4 May 2026
You can cancel any recurring Yielde service at any time. This policy explains the notice period, what is billed before cancellation takes effect, and what happens to your data.
1. Notice period
Hosting, maintenance, and any other recurring service requires 30 days' written notice of cancellation. Notice runs from the day the cancellation request is received at support@yielde.dev.
The next monthly billing cycle that falls inside the 30-day notice window will still be charged. After the notice period ends, no further charges will be taken.
2. How to cancel
Email support@yielde.dev from the address on file with:
- Your name and the business or domain on the account
- The service(s) you wish to cancel (website hosting, system maintenance, etc.)
- The date you would like the cancellation to take effect (subject to the 30-day notice)
You will receive a written acknowledgement within two business days.
3. Cancelling a build in progress
If you cancel a website or system build before delivery, 50% of the upfront build fee is refundable in line with our Refund Policy. Once a build has been delivered and approved, the build fee is non-refundable.
4. What happens at the end of the notice period
- Hosting is shut down and the site goes offline.
- All client data is deleted immediately on cancellation. Yielde does not retain client site data after the cancellation effective date.
- Data export is not available as part of cancellation. If you need a copy of your data, you must request and receive it before the cancellation effective date.
- Domain names registered in the client's name remain the property of the client and can be transferred away on request before the cancellation effective date.
5. Cancellation fees
There are no cancellation fees beyond the standard 30-day notice billing.
