This page tells you who is behind Yielde, how to reach us, what we sell, what it costs and where to find the terms. South African law requires a business that sells online to publish these facts (section 43 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, "ECTA", and section 32 of the Companies Act 71 of 2008). We sell two separate services: the Yielde Venue Enquiry Desk (the "Desk"), for wedding and function venues, and Yielde platform subscriptions (the "platform"). Where a rule is different for each service, this page says so. At the end you will find a list of all our legal pages.

3. What we sell
We sell to businesses, and to people acting in the course of their trade, business or profession. You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter into a contract.
3.1 Yielde Venue Enquiry Desk
The Desk answers the wedding and function enquiries that reach a venue's web form or enquiry email. You connect it by adding the Desk's address as a second recipient on your web form, or by forwarding your enquiry email to it. We sell it as a 30-day paid pilot.
What it does:
- Every enquiry that reaches the Desk gets one reply within 15 minutes, day or night. When the Desk isn't sure, you get a draft to approve within 15 minutes instead. There are stated exceptions, such as your first 3 days (drafts only) and while you have stopped the Desk. Section 15 of our Service Level Agreement lists them.
- It replies in the languages set up for your venue. Afrikaans replies of any kind, including drafts for you to approve, start only after our Afrikaans wording has been proofread. Until then, the Desk replies in English.
- Each reply quotes prices only from a table you approve. It says the date is "provisionally open", with a day and time by which you will confirm. It offers two viewing times from your list. It says in one line that it was sent automatically.
- Replies show your venue's name followed by "via Yielde". When a couple answers, the answer goes to your own inbox.
- Every morning at 07:00 you get one email with every enquiry, the drafts to approve and a link that stops all replies.
You stay in control:
- For the first 3 days, every reply is a draft that you approve.
- Replies go out automatically only after you say yes in writing. You may stay on drafts throughout.
- One tap stops all replies within a minute.
What it never does:
- quote a price that isn't in your table;
- call a date booked, reserved, confirmed or guaranteed;
- make an offer (prices are indicative; your own quote follows the viewing);
- turn a couple away;
- send a second message or a follow-up;
- read or answer WhatsApp, Instagram, phone calls or PDFs.
We don't promise more bookings. The pilot measures reply times and confirmed viewings.
Your data. You are the responsible party for your enquirers' personal information, and Yielde is your operator. Couples' details pass through services outside South Africa. Cloudflare receives enquiries and stores them in the European Union. OpenRouter (United States) passes each enquiry to Anthropic's Claude model on Amazon Bedrock or Google Vertex AI, using only endpoints that OpenRouter lists as zero data retention. That model host may be in the United States, the European Union or a global cloud region, depending on the endpoint OpenRouter chooses for the call. Resend sends the replies from Ireland and stores its account data and logs in the United States. You sign an operator agreement with us before any real enquiry reaches the Desk.
More: Pricing, Schedule B of our Terms of Service, Security and our sub-processor register.
3.2 Yielde platform
Platform subscriptions give your business an AI automation workspace that we run for you, with a dashboard and AI workers. Depending on your plan, the platform includes workflow automation, an AI lead qualifier, an AI voice receptionist and AI Chat, with AI usage measured in credits. The plans are Starter, Growth and Business, plus custom plans agreed in writing. What each plan includes is on our pricing page.
Platform workspaces run on Amazon Web Services in Cape Town (af-south-1). AI prompts go to model providers outside South Africa, mainly in the United States, and some supporting services run outside South Africa. Our sub-processor register names each provider and where it processes data.
More: Pricing, Schedule A of our Terms of Service and Security.
4. Prices
All prices are in South African rand.
4.1 Venue Enquiry Desk
Every Desk price includes VAT at 15%.
| What | Price incl. VAT | Made up of |
|---|---|---|
| 30-day pilot, paid once, up front | R999.00 | R868.70 + R130.30 VAT |
Paystack's transaction fee on your payment is paid by Yielde, not by you.
After the pilot, only if you want it. The pilot does not renew by itself. If you want the Desk to continue, we agree a plan with you in writing before we charge anything. That written agreement sets the price (including VAT), the minimum term, the notice period and how the plan ends. We change that price only if the written agreement allows it, and only after telling you in writing before the change takes effect. You may end the plan before the change takes effect, without penalty (Terms of Service section 5.5). If you don't agree a plan, the Desk stops at the end of the pilot, unless the law continues the pilot (next paragraph).
If section 14 of the Consumer Protection Act applies to you. It can apply only if you contract as a natural person, for example a sole proprietor. Section 18.5 of our Terms of Service then also applies when the pilot's 30 days (as extended) end. You may end the pilot then, without penalty. If you neither tell us to end it nor agree to a new fixed term, it continues month to month. To have the pilot end when its 30 days end, email support@yielde.dev and say so. If a plan you agree later runs for a fixed term, section 18.5 applies to it too, including when that term ends. Section 9 explains these rights.
Where Desk prices are shown: on our pricing page, in the pilot terms we send you before you pay, on the Paystack payment page and on your tax invoice.
4.2 Yielde platform
Every Starter, Growth and Business price includes VAT at 15% (Terms of Service section 5.2 and Schedule A, item A5).
| Plan | Monthly price incl. VAT | Made up of |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | R499.00 | R433.91 + R65.09 VAT |
| Growth | R1 499.00 | R1 303.48 + R195.52 VAT |
| Business | R2 750.00 | R2 391.30 + R358.70 VAT |
A custom plan costs the price set in your written order. Section 5.2 of our Terms of Service says how VAT applies to it.
- Platform plans start with a 7-day free trial. To begin it, Paystack takes R1 from your card so that it can store your card for later payments. We refund that R1, so the trial itself costs you nothing. If you cancel before the trial ends, you pay no plan fee.
- Each plan includes a monthly pool of AI credits. Your dashboard shows how much of your pool you have used, and tells you when it runs out. We do not charge you beyond what you have authorised without telling you first.
- AI usage beyond your plan's credit pool is not included in the plan price. Once the pool is used up, AI features may pause or need a credit top-up. We charge for AI usage beyond the pool only at a rate that our pricing page or your written order states before you use it. We sell a credit top-up only at a price stated in the same way before you buy it. If no rate is stated, you pay nothing for AI usage beyond your plan price. Where a rate applies, metered AI usage is billed on a pass-through basis: our underlying AI and voice costs for your account, plus any disclosed margin. A rate or top-up price published for the first time, or a changed one, applies only from your next billing period after reasonable notice, and you may cancel before then (Terms of Service section 5.5 and Schedule A, items A5 and A6).
Where platform prices are shown: on our pricing page and during sign-up, which shows your first payment before you start the trial.
5. How you pay
All payments are in rand. Desk payments, and platform plans bought on our website, go through Paystack. A custom platform plan is paid as its written order says (Terms of Service section 5.1).
- Desk. You pay the pilot fee once, up front, through a Paystack payment link, by card or another method shown on the Paystack payment page. We send you that link only together with the pilot terms and the operator agreement, so you can read them before you pay. We never send a payment link on its own. The Desk is not connected before you pay. Charges for any plan you agree after the pilot run through a Paystack subscription, which needs a card, and we send you a tax invoice for each charge.
- Platform. Plans bought on our website are paid by card. The 7-day free trial starts with a R1 card check: Paystack takes R1 so that it can store your card, and we refund that R1. When you subscribe, you authorise Yielde and Paystack to charge your nominated payment method on a recurring basis for your subscription, and for metered AI usage under Schedule A, item A6 of our Terms of Service. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. Custom plans have no online checkout; they are agreed in writing.
6. When the service starts and how long it runs
6.1 Venue Enquiry Desk
- Go-live. Your Desk goes live within 15 working days of your payment and your signature on the operator agreement, whichever comes later. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding South African public holidays. The clock pauses only while we wait on you for set-up facts or for your form or forwarding change.
- Before go-live. The Desk is connected and tested, including a check that a test reply lands in the inbox, not in spam.
- The 30 days. The 30 days run from go-live. They are extended by any outage of more than 24 hours that is our fault, and by any days beyond 7 in total that you switch the Desk off by choice. Your first 3 days, when every reply is a draft for you to approve, count as part of the 30.
- The end. Nothing renews by itself. Unless the law continues it (next point), the pilot ends after its 30 days (as extended). You continue on a plan only if we agree one with you in writing (section 4.1).
- If section 14 of the Consumer Protection Act applies to you (you contract as a natural person, for example a sole proprietor), section 18.5 of our Terms of Service also applies when the pilot's 30 days end. You may end the pilot then, without penalty. If you neither tell us to end it nor agree to a new fixed term, it continues month to month. To have the pilot end when its 30 days end, email support@yielde.dev and say so. Section 9 explains this right.
- Ending early. You may end the pilot at any time by email (section 8.1).
6.2 Yielde platform
- The platform is a subscription. It runs from one billing period to the next, with no fixed lock-in, until you cancel.
- Schedule A of our Terms of Service explains the steps before your workspace is set up.
- We have not fixed a set-up time for platform workspaces. Where ECTA applies to you, section 46 of ECTA requires us to carry out your order within 30 days after the day we receive it. If we don't, you may cancel on 7 days' written notice.
- You may cancel at any time before your next renewal. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep access until then.
7. Your agreement with us
- Desk. We sell the Desk by signed pilot terms and an operator agreement, not by online checkout. Those signed documents are your Desk agreement. Your signed pilot terms say which other documents form part of it, and the common core of our Terms of Service applies to the Desk only where they say so. Schedule B of our Terms of Service summarises your signed documents in plain words. If this page, Schedule B, the Desk sections of our Refund Policy, Cancellation Policy or Service Level Agreement, and your signed documents say different things, the one more favourable to you applies. On personal information, the one that gives you and your enquirers more protection applies. Between your two signed documents, the operator agreement prevails on anything about personal information. The operator agreement is the written contract that section 21 of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) requires. We send the pilot terms and operator agreement to you before you pay. You sign them electronically, for example with a typed or drawn signature on the PDF, which is valid under section 13 of ECTA. The Desk accepts none of your real enquiries until the operator agreement is signed.
- Platform. Your agreement is our Terms of Service (the common core and Schedule A, which are also our Master Subscription Agreement), with the documents they list, including the Acceptable Use Policy, the Refund Policy, the Cancellation Policy, the Privacy Policy, the Service Level Agreement and the Data Processing Agreement. You accept them when you register, click "I agree", sign electronically or use the platform.
- Clauses to read first. Some clauses limit our liability, place a risk on you or ask you to confirm a fact. Section 1.4 of our Terms of Service lists them for both services. Please read them before you sign up, sign or pay.
- Guarantees. The Desk's month-1 guarantee and its go-live refund are in section 8.1. The platform's commitments on availability, support and service credits are in our Service Level Agreement.
- Keeping a copy. Every legal page on yielde.dev shows the date it was last updated. You can print it or save it as a PDF from your browser. For the Desk, the pilot terms and operator agreement you sign are PDFs that you keep.
- Law. South African law governs both services. Each agreement says how disputes are resolved.
8. Refunds, cancellation and guarantees
Nothing in our terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, ECTA or any other law. Where the law gives you a stronger right, the law applies.
8.1 Venue Enquiry Desk
- If we miss go-live. If we miss the 15 working days through no delay of yours, you may cancel by email. You get a full refund, started within 5 working days, with a VAT credit note.
- Month-1 guarantee. If no couple confirms a viewing in your first 30 days, your R999 is refunded, with a VAT credit note. A viewing counts when the Desk's reply log shows it replied to that couple during the 30 days, and you confirm to us in writing (by email or WhatsApp) that the couple agreed a viewing date and time with you during the 30 days. The viewing itself may fall later. We send you the count on day 30. If your records and our log disagree, your written word counts. Claim by email within 10 working days after day 30 (as extended). We start the refund within 5 working days, and your bank shows it 3 to 10 working days later. The guarantee applies to the first 30 days only (as extended, see section 6.1).
- If you end the pilot early. You may end the pilot at any time by email. After go-live, the fee isn't refunded pro rata, but the go-live refund and the month-1 guarantee still apply. If section 14 of the Consumer Protection Act applies to you and you end the pilot under it, section 9 applies instead. Before go-live, if the Consumer Protection Act applies to you, you may cancel your order, and we refund the R999 less, at most, a reasonable cancellation charge (section 9 and Refund Policy section 3.6).
- If we end the pilot for our own convenience, you get a full refund.
- If you object to a service-provider change. Before we add, replace or materially change a service provider that processes your enquirers' information (including any change to the zero-data-retention and no-training setting on model calls), we give you at least 30 days' notice by email. If you object on reasonable data-protection grounds and we can't resolve it, you may end the service. We then refund any unused, prepaid part of the fee.
Your signed pilot terms and operator agreement are your Desk agreement. Schedule B of our Terms of Service and the Desk sections of our Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy summarise them in plain words. Where one of them is more favourable to you, it applies (Terms of Service section 1.3).
8.2 Yielde platform
- Free trial. If you cancel before the 7-day free trial ends, you pay no plan fee, and the R1 taken to store your card is refunded.
- Cancelling. Cancel at any time before your next renewal, from your dashboard's billing settings or by emailing support@yielde.dev. We acknowledge your cancellation in writing within two business days. There are no cancellation fees. The plan fee already paid for the current period is not refunded pro rata.
- If we cannot provide the service. If we cannot provide the core service to you at all for a paid period, through no fault of yours, you are entitled to a refund of the plan fee for that period. For missed availability, the remedy is the service credits in our Service Level Agreement.
- Unused top-ups. If you pre-purchased a credit top-up that you have not used, you may ask for a refund of the unused balance when you cancel. Credits you have used, and the R100 introductory voucher, are not refundable.
- How refunds are paid. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Paystack within 7 to 14 business days of approval. Your bank may add a few days.
- Your data after you cancel. We keep your Customer Data for a 30-day export window after your cancellation takes effect, so you can get a copy. After that we delete it, except records the law requires us to keep.
The full rules are in our Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy.
9. Cooling-off and other cancellation rights
Who these laws protect. The Consumer Protection Act protects natural persons, and juristic persons (such as companies, close corporations and trusts) whose asset value and annual turnover are both below R2 million. ECTA's consumer protections cover natural persons who buy as the end user by electronic transaction. Whether a law applies to you depends on your own position.
ECTA section 44. If you are a natural person (for example, a sole proprietor) buying as the end user in an electronic transaction, section 44 of ECTA may let you cancel a services agreement within 7 days after it was concluded, without giving a reason and without penalty. If you have already paid, you get a full refund within 30 days of cancelling. Section 42 of ECTA lists the transactions to which this right does not apply. For example, under section 42(2)(d) it does not apply to services that began, with your consent, before the 7 days ended. Nothing in our agreements takes this right away (ECTA section 48).
Consumer Protection Act section 16. If the Consumer Protection Act applies to you, ECTA section 44 does not, and you entered into the agreement after we approached you directly (direct marketing), section 16 of the Consumer Protection Act lets you cancel without reason or penalty by notice in writing or in another recorded way (for example by email) within 5 business days after the agreement was concluded. We then return your payment within 15 business days.
Consumer Protection Act section 14. If you are a natural person (for example, a sole proprietor) and the Consumer Protection Act applies to you, section 14 of that Act lets you cancel a fixed-term agreement (for example, the 30-day Desk pilot, or a Desk plan agreed for a fixed term after the pilot) when its term ends, without penalty, or at any other time on 20 business days' notice in writing or in another recorded way. If you cancel early, section 14(3) of that Act decides what you still owe up to the cancellation date and what we must credit back to you. We charge no cancellation fee on the platform (section 8.2). When a fixed term ends, the agreement continues month to month, unless you expressly tell us to end it on that date or you agree to a new fixed term. Section 14 does not apply to agreements between juristic persons, such as companies, close corporations and trusts.
The Desk pilot at day 30 (Consumer Protection Act section 14). If section 14 applies to you, it also applies when the Desk pilot's 30 days (as extended) end (Schedule B, items B9 and B10 of our Terms of Service). You may end the pilot then, without penalty. If you neither tell us to end it nor agree to a new fixed term, it continues month to month. To have the pilot end when its 30 days end, email support@yielde.dev and say so.
Consumer Protection Act section 17. If the Consumer Protection Act applies to you, you may cancel the Desk pilot before it goes live, because it is an order for a service we supply later. We may keep only a reasonable cancellation charge, and we refund the rest. We may not charge anything if you cancel because the person for whom, or for whose benefit, the Desk was ordered has died or is in hospital.
To use any of these rights, email support@yielde.dev, or write to us at 55 York Street, George, Western Cape, 6529. You don't have to give a reason. Section 18 of our Terms of Service and section 3 of our Refund Policy explain these and your other statutory rights.
10. Records of your transaction
- Desk. Before you pay, you receive the pilot terms and the operator agreement. On the day you pay, we email you a tax invoice. If we refund you, we issue a VAT credit note on the day of the refund. The documents you sign are PDFs that you keep.
- Platform. Platform plans bought on our website are invoiced through Paystack. A custom plan is invoiced as its written order says. You can manage your subscription in your dashboard's billing settings.
- How long we keep them. We keep tax and accounting records, including invoices and credit notes, for as long as the law requires: seven years under section 24 of the Companies Act 71 of 2008 (the Tax Administration Act's own minimum is five years). For the Desk, we keep the signed pilot terms and operator agreement with those records, for the same seven years. If you need a copy of one of these records, email support@yielde.dev.
11. Payment security and privacy
- Card details. Paystack processes every card payment we take. Card details are handled by Paystack and are not stored by Yielde.
- What we receive. For a Desk payment, the Paystack page asks for your email address and phone number, your venue's registered name and billing address, and its VAT number if you have one, so that we can issue your tax invoice. For platform billing, we keep billing identifiers, transaction details and your account email address.
- Payment messages. Paystack's payment messages to the platform are signature-checked before we act on them.
- Connections. Our website and our services use encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
- No certification. Yielde does not hold ISO 27001, SOC 2 or a similar certification, and claims none.
- More. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, our Security page describes our safeguards, and our sub-processor register lists the service providers who process personal information for us.
12. Our legal pages
| Page | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Company information and legal notices | This page: who we are, what we sell, prices, payment and where to find each document |
| Terms of Service | Our agreement for platform subscriptions (the common core and Schedule A). For the Desk, your signed pilot terms and operator agreement are your agreement: Schedule B summarises them, and the common core applies where your pilot terms say so. Section 1.4 lists the clauses that limit our liability |
| Refund Policy | When and how we refund money. It is part of your platform agreement. Its Desk sections summarise the refund rules in your signed pilot terms |
| Cancellation Policy | How to cancel a platform plan or end the Desk pilot, and what happens to your data. It is part of your platform agreement. Its Desk sections summarise the ending rules in your signed pilot terms |
| Service Level Agreement | Platform uptime, support times and service credits. Its Desk section summarises the service levels in your pilot terms |
| Acceptable Use Policy | What you may and may not do with our services |
| Privacy Policy | How we handle personal information, and your rights under POPIA |
| Cookie Policy | The cookies and similar technologies our website uses |
| Security | How we protect the services and the data in them, and how to report a weakness |
| Sub-processor register | The service providers who process personal information for us, what they do and where |
| Changelog | A dated record of each change to our sub-processor register, newest first |
| PAIA manual | How to ask for records we hold, and how we process personal information |
Two agreements are not public pages because each is signed with the customer: the Desk's operator agreement, and the platform's Data Processing Agreement. Both are the written operator contracts that section 21 of POPIA requires. The Desk pilot terms are also signed with each venue and are not a public page; Schedule B of our Terms of Service summarises them.
13. Changes to this page
We update this page when any of these details change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
